Nominations are now open for the 2024 Irish Australian of the Year Award, presented by the Irish Australian Support & Resource Bureau.
“This award was first presented in 1984 and has been presented to people from all walks of life and areas of the Irish community, for their consistent and productive efforts to build up the Irish community and culture. This award is the highest order of recognition by the Irish community in Victoria.”
The award nominees are to be kept secret until the day of awarding. The recipient will be announced at the Bureau Christmas Party on Sunday the 15th of December, so please ensure that your nominee can potentially attend this event, while keeping their nomination secret.
If you know an individual who goes above and beyond for the Irish community, please nominate them. Nominations are to be forwarded to the Bureau by post or e-mail at admin@iasrb.org by Friday 15th November.
